Learning how to cook healthy meals for ourselves is one of the most powerful things we can do to enhance our health and wellbeing and protect ourselves from the risk of chronic disease.

There is scientific consensus amongst leading health authorities that a more plant based eating pattern is associated with better health and protection against many chronic diseases. This is also the diet pattern that minimizes our impact on the environment and reduces our carbon footprint.

Preparing home cooked meals based around the foods that are most associated with increased health is an investment into our own better health and wellbeing.

In this course I teach you how to prepare simple meals based around the foods that are consistently linked to better health. We will use herbs, spices and other ingredients to build flavour so that the meals also taste great. If we can prepare delicious meals that are also optimal for our health, then we've really cracked the code to a successful lifestyle approach.

We will also look at the how to adjust the diet in order to consume less overall calories and why some foods are prone to passive over-consumption.

There will be a meal plan that you can follow along with for the duration of the course. Or simply incorporate the meals as gradually as you wish.

What if I decide the course is not for me?

That's no problem at all. There is a 30 day no questions asked refund from date of purchase if you decide that the course is not for you.



Will I need to make a trip to a specialist food shop or health food shop to purchase ingredients?

The focus for the recipes in this course is using ingredients you can find in the supermarket. In saying that, this is based on my location in Ireland and there will be differences on what's available in supermarkets in different countries and within different catchment areas within the same country. Where I feel a particular ingredient may not be widely available in supermarkets, I will note this. There may also an odd ingredient that will require a trip to a health food shop, but these will generally be optional.



Do I need to follow a meal plan with this course?

The course is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge to prepare healthy meals based around whole plant foods. You can incorporate the skills learnt into your daily lifestyle as much as you like. A meal plan will be provided and you may wish to dive in and follow this for the duration of the course, however you may also wish to start by incorporating one meal every day or every couple of days into your schedule. Its really up to you whether you prefer to dive in, or just dip your toe in the water.



Is this course just cooking?

No. Although this is a main focus of the course, we also get into the science a little bit. We look at some of the evidence on the positive health effects of increasing certain foods in the diet and reducing other foods. This includes protection against various chronic diseases and enhanced health through increased physical and emotional wellbeing along with better weight management. The aim is for you to have the knowledge to apply the principles learnt in the course into your daily lifestyle, long after you have finished the course.




Is the course delivered at certain times?

The content for each of the four modules will be available one week after the previous one. Once the content is available, you can take the course at your own pace and whenever suits your schedule. The content is optimised for both desktop and mobile devices, so you can complete the course during your daily commute (once you have WiFi signal).
